Warhammer Online: High Elf Shadow Warriors
February 8th, 2008 | by Shintar |Well, Mythic finally released the next High Elf class, the Shadow Warriors. I’m not too surprise as I thought they were going to let players be the Shadow Warriors as the High Elf ranged damage, because the High Elf Archers were just too plain.
The class has a lot more color than I thought as the default color scheme for Shadow Warriors are silver and white with dark blue cloaks.
The idea of stealth ranged attack is quite cool but that can also mean lots of PvP balancing issues. Imagine a small group of these guys hiding in the woods then focus firing on a selected player and running away, rinse and repeat for a cheesy ambush tactic, plus very annoying for the enemy players as they would not see it coming before it’s too late and the healer is dead.
I think the next class to be revealed will be the White Lions of Chrace as the High Elf melee damage class. I don’t see any other choices to be a good melee damage class since the Swordmasters are planned to be the tank.
Personally, I would rather they make the Phoenix Guard as the tank and the Swordmasters as the melee dps. Okay, I have thing for huge two handed swords.
Anyways, I really hope Warhammer Online matures to be a good game cause I really need a break from World of Warcraft, haha. I wish they would open more slots for beta testing, unless the game is that unfinish or just not fun to play at its current state.
