World of Warcraft: Sunwell Plateau and Patch 2.4 News

World of Raids posted an outline more interesting bits of Patch 2.4 considering the new instance of Sunwell Plateau, located north of Silvermoon City. The article was from a Swedish magazine, Level, interviewing Jeff Kaplan. The post can be viewed here.

This what I feel are important out of the post:

• New zone, Sunwell Isle, is added north of Silvermoon.
• Instance is broken down to two wings: 5-man (normal and heroic) Magister’s Terrance and 25-man raid Sunwell Plateau
• Kael’thas will make an apperance in the 5-man wing while Kil’Jaeden will be in the 25-man wing
• No new Tier 7 set
• Increased the daily quest limit from 10 to 25
• More daily quests available outside the instance
• Lots of PvP balancing planned

I’m personally interested in the new 5-man instance since this is my only chance to see Kael’thas as I’m not a raider. I’m glad Blizzard took this approach cause not everyone can find the time and commitment to do a full raid to enjoy some of the cool aspects of the game, like lore characters of the game.
