World of Warcraft: Alliance Alterac Valley (AV) Boycott

This pretty old news by now but the Holiday Seasons is keeping me busy as of late. Anyways, many Alliance players across the realms are boycotting the Alterac Valley battleground, or AV for short, for the last month or so, making the queue time ranging from 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes. Being on the Horde, I starting to miss the quick 500 points of honor I usually get per 5-10 minutes game.

I do feel bad for the Alliance as they can often get zero points of honor if the Horde players have some defense and if the Alliance go all offense, they will just lose the game even quicker due to graveyard position disadvantages. Since the latest patch, AV is pretty much a Catch 22 for the Alliance. Then again, the Horde has been putting up with terrain design flaws for years but the Horde doesn’t cry much about it, not to a point for calling for a boycott.

Blizzard should just change AV back for now till they can come up with a more fair system. Keep the reinforcement system but add back the generals so the losing side can at least get some honor by killing them. Because as of now, nobody is really benefiting from the latest AV changes. Then again, I rather they release a new battleground as the current four is getting old. I would love to see a Battleground with siege weapons!!
